Light Fields are a form of visual poetry; paintings of dancing light. Their compositions move along with their viewers’ eyes.
Light Fields are handcrafted to the finest detail, using a unique technology of overlapping prints, patterns, glass and light.
They are unique wall pieces or limited editions. And love to become constellations of multiple pieces or grow into a large scale commissioned piece.

Maria Vera van Embden Andres (M.Arch) is founder and creative director of Dreams Work, a London based art studio. Following graduation in Architecture and Building Technology at the Delft University of Technology, she contributed to groundbreaking new developments in the realm of art and technology. Working with engineers, architects and artists, including the Amsterdam based studio DRIFT where she led the Research & Development team for over 4 years and realised highly challenging kinetic installations for international clients.
In 2017 she invented Light Fields; becoming her own unique medium to create art works of dancing colour & light; offering a delightful visual escape into a world of deep colour and ephemeral experience. Her Light Fields appear in all scales and sizes. From intimate artworks to architectural scale installations.
Integrated artwork
Light Fields can be integrated into architecture, walls and spaces. In conversation with the client it is ensured that all custom parts are prepared and delivered for a smooth installation process.
Bespoke Commissions
